I really do not see anything wrong in having a threesome. It’s a sexual act open to every adult to experience. So, why not?
But I also understand when others find it bizarre that a single guy/girl would have sex with two girls/guys at once. Besides it being too crowdy and involving less privacy – something sex should have – it’s also vulnerable to diseases like STDs and/or HIV/AIDS.
But that notwithstanding, it’s something to experience at least once in a lifetime with all members healthy and privacy well respected.
So I talk with three students (Mbi, Manyi and Monjoa) from three universities in Cameroon to tell me what they think of threesome – should it be encouraged in our society? Here’s what they told me:
1.) Would you have a threesome?
Manyi: “I see nothing wrong with having a threesome. Everyone must experience it, at least once. It’s awesome!”
Mbi: “I think it’s awful and I would NEVER be associated with such a practice.”
Monjoa: “I have never had a threesome but I would like to experience it someday. I have watched it on TV and it’s a sexual act based on trust and pleasure. What can be better than that!?
2.) If you’re caught having a threesome, how would you react?
Manyi: “That means I was caught by the other two people I was having the threesome with. Lol. No one needs to know where, why, how we are doing it. So I doubt if we would be caught.”
Mbi: “OMG! I would die! But because I will never ever do it, I will never be caught!”
Monjoa: “No one wants to be caught having sex, threesome or not. So I think my reaction will be running out of that place as fast as I can.”
3.) Should threesome be encouraged?
Manyi: “Why not? Like I said, I don’t find anything wrong with it. So why would I prevent somebody else from experiencing something that pleasurable? This may sound strange but threesome helps build trust and love between couples.”
Mbi: “No!”
Monjoa: “It’s anyone’s decision to have or not have a threesome. If you want to, go ahead. I want to say you should have it at least once!”
What’s your take on threesome among our young community? Should be encouraged?
