5 things Fally Ipupa loves about Cameroon
Fally Ipupa is one of Africa’s most iconic musicians. The DR Congo superstar’s music has carried him to several countries around the globe but every time he visits Cameroon he has five things he loves about the country. Here they are below:
1. Fally loves the people of Cameroon
“Cameroonians are good people. They are very welcoming and love to help another person [foreigner]. To the best of my knowledge, they don’t discriminate.”
2. Fally loves the food in Cameroon
“Every time I am in Douala, Yaounde or Kribi, I love to eat Ndole (local meal made of bitter leaf and grounded groundnut) and Miondo. I really love ndole.”
3. Fally loves the women in Cameroon
“Women in Cameroon are very sexy and very caring and hospitable. They also have curves and can cook. So yes, I love Cameroonian women. I think they know how to take care of their men… any man.”
4. Fally loves Cameroon for playing his music
“Whenever I am in Cameroon, I hear my music being played everywhere. In the taxi, at the hotel, at the club, in people’s phones etc. I shows that they accept me and what I do and do not discriminate by just playing only Cameroonian sounds. I love and appreciate this.”
5. Fally loves Stanley Enow
“I think he’s a great person who works hard to improve on himself everyday… just like me. I really admire his effort in making his country [Cameroon] shine musically in Africa and why not, in the world. That is a great thing. “Stanley est mon petit frere, and I like what he’s doing,” Fally tells DCODED TV.
