Huddah Monroe ditches CAMIFF for tour with Dencia
Kenyan socialite, Huddah Monroe has surprisingly cancelled her appearance at year’s Cameroon International Film Festival (CAMIFF) and says she was disrespected and betrayed by the organisers.
Huddah, as she’s fondly called, was reportedly supposed to arrive Cameroon on Tuesday, April 25, ahead of the film festival which kicked off in high spirits on April 24 at the Mountain Hotel in Buea.
The former Big Brother Africa housemate went on a Snapchat rant early April 26 morning explaining why she cancelled her Cameroon trip at the last minute and blamed it on flight mishaps.
According to Huddah, organisers of the festival refused to provide her with a business class ticket as requested and instead, tried to trick her into coming to Cameroon on an economic class fight ticket.
She even went on to post pictures of billboards carrying ads of CAMIFF on her Snapchat telling fans, how angry she was at been betrayed and also how sorry she is not being able to make it to the festival.
Huddah was not only coming to attend the film festival but was programmed for a makeup masterclass on April 27 alongside Cameroonian top makeup artists, Anyi Asonganyi and Experienza.
She says she will be joining Cameroonian singer and business woman, Dencia on an African beauty tour to promote her cosmetics brand.
