Soli Egbe reveals the real reason why she’s still single
Soli Egbe is spilling the tea about her life and the real reason why she’s not dating at the moment as she the covers the new issue of Nam Outlook Magazine.
The actress rocks a sexy black dress and a true African hair-do as she poses for the cover of the magazine’s fifth edition.
Solantine “Soli” Egbe is making sure her career is moving on the right path by venturing into playing challenging movie roles in comedy, drama and … real life actions.
“Soli Egbe is making a very positive impact in the Cameroon Film Industry of recent. I believe she will make it big.” Emmamuel Lyowe, Actor and Photographer tells Nam Outlook mag.
The actress began acting in 2006 and now owns her own production company called Green Sea Dynasty but Soli says, she’s not a stereotype and has no role models.
“I am my role model!” She tells the mag. “I am someone who believes much in myself. I pride in looking things from my own periscope , without bothering at all how small it could be. When the repercussions come, I gladly hold myself responsible,” she adds.
Soli reveals that “acting is my passion” and haven’t found a man whom she holds so dearly as she holds her job.
“Marriage hasn’t been elusive, I have not not just met the right person,” she explains. “Marriage in Africa is a revered institution that one has to be totally sure before getting into. I am simply taking my time,” she went on.
The twenty something year old star is currently focusing on making her mark in the film business even though she admits, its not an easy job especially being a woman in Entertainment.
“Most times people want to take advantage of your gender – there’s teasing and temptations every now and then. Then generating finance as the CEO of my company too has been difficult. But my dedication, vision and tenacity have led me on,” she says.
Nam Outlook Magazine 5th Edition was launched at IYA, Buea on October 15.
