Cameroonian Hip Hop act, Tenor has signed a major deal with multinational music company, Universal Music Group (UMG) Africa.
Tenor becomes the first Cameroonian music act to be signed to the music group.
The news was made public at a press conference held in Yaounde, November 24 which brought together top executives from UMG, Tenor‘s management team and media personalities from Cameroon including Brice Albin and many others.
The “Do Le Dab” rapper has been receiving congratulatory messages from his fans, friends and fellow music colleagues including Mr. Leo, Locko, Dynastie Le Tigre, Blaise B, Blanche Bailly and so many others.
Although the rapper is yet to share his thoughts about his new deal, he posted a short video on his Instagram page, Friday night showing him receiving a long hug from his mother which led him to tears on stage.
