Sa Majeste Magazine has released it’s second issue and media personality, Sophy Aiida is rocking the life out of the mag’s cover!
The famous and successful media personality becomes the second powerful woman in Cameroon’s entertainment to grace the cover of the popular online mag.
“I am honoured to have been chosen.Thank you for having me,” said Sophy.
Sophy Aiida has been in the media industry since 2008 despite beginning her career as a young aspiring actress at age 2 before trying her luck in music in her college years.
“What I’ve learned in my career is that my gift and talent do not belong to me. So they are not to be taken for granted. When God gives them to us, we better use it wisely otherwise he will take it back and give it to someone else,” the media girl explains to the mag about lessons learned on her media journey.
Being a media personality hasn’t stopped Sophy from pursuing other dreams. The now Paris-based star also runs an event company called CIRCA 237 and hosts some major events across the world. How does she balance everything?
“I’m actually blessed to be focused on one thing at a time now… and at the moment, its my hosting/acting career,” she explains.
Sophy now hosts an interactive interview show called ‘Meet Up With Sophy Aiida’ where she gets to interview Africa’s big guns in all walks of life in front of their biggest fans. But it was her long time dream of meeting South African media goddess, Bonang Matheba that got Sophy talking about those who inspire her.
“On my vision board for the year, i wrote down that i wanted to interview Bonang as a personal milestone in my career. I held on to that desire without even knowing how it will happen. God had a plan and in October 2017, i found myself moderating her book launch and meet and greet in Paris… One of the greatest lessons i learned from her is to invest in my sparkle,” Sophy reveals.
Sophy has gone ahead to hosts the 5th Annual African Union/ European Union Summit in Abidjan and the 2017 AFRIMA Awards in Lagos alongside singer, Akon.
Funny enough nothing was mention about her fashion sense which we all know she is trailblazer style star.
