The Alpha Better Records music star teams up with Nigerian high-life music superstar, Flavour N’abania to give the 2016 hit track a remix.
It’s not like we all knew both music sensations were working on some music together but we are glad they did! In no time, the song is here, and it comes with a video, too.
Titled ‘Jamais Jamais remix’ the track draws from the two artist’s influences. The new song is a hybrid of afrobeat and Nigerian high-life, with some sprinkles of Makossa and pop.
Just like the original song, it’s dance floor-ready and will highly likely blow up… in time (we hope). We are not so sure if Flavour‘s familiar collabo swag bled through as some Cameroonians have voiced out their frustration on the quality of his delivery. Maybe he isn’t so familiar with our sound, who knows!? But believe it when we say, Mr. Leo nailed his part! (Maybe because we’ve him on the song before)
The video is shot in a warehouse that stands in what looks like the heart of Lagos, Nigeria. Like with most pop music videos, there are plenty of scantily dressed women dancing or making really ‘good’ appearances. (If you know what we mean *wink)
