The KamerFEST Music Festival 2018 will hold in Atlanta from September 28 – 30 and it promises the best of Cameroonian music for a global audience.
But there’s more you should know about the festival than just dates and promises.
1. Unlike many other Cameroonian music events in the diaspora, KamerFEST Music Festival is a THREE-day fun event to hold in Atlanta- Georgia, USA (September 28 – 30) . The festival has already released its full agenda and its jam packed with fun and exciting activities. Besides its rich music performances, there will be an all-white networking event, a cypher and later on a workshop to be moderated by a Grammy Award member, Germaine Moody!
2. KamerFEST Music Festival is all about music and despite the fact that the organizers are withholding the performance lineup (yet to be announced), we have hints that singers like Daphne, Numerica, Mic Monsta, Maahlox and Tzy Panchak will be on board. We could be wrong! The official DJ for the festival is no other than the CEO of Inturn Nation Entertainment with 14 years of music business experience, DJ INTURN!
3. This year’s festival theme song is done by the Mr. Bolo himself, Ko_C from Locko’s former label, Big Dreams Entertainment and the yet-to-be-released song if is produced by Slimbeatz and mix/mastered by Bozeur Ekie.
4. The festival is organized by the powerful DB Ndip. She is a very ambitious, nice and determined woman. She runs her own company called LUX Global – specialized in organizing high earned sold out events which targets famous US athletes and entertainers. She’s also a Branding/Strategy consultant who also doubles as Dr. Nkeng Stephens‘ social media manager. Now, you know!
5. The KamerFEST Music Festival is a festival to celebrate Cameroonian music but it’s targeted markets are Black Americans, Jamaicans and the Carribeans. This means this festival is creating the perfect platform for non-Cameroonians to listen, dance, buy and take our local music home.
