NCTC is looking forward to solidify and exploit the already existing virile commercial ties between both African countries. It is a platform for Cameroonians and Nigerians to exploit significant mutual opportunities, potential, as well as human and natural resources endowed in the two countries.
“We have Dangote and UBA bank operating here and we also have some Cameroonian companies operating in Nigeria. We hope to use this forum to attract a car manufacturing company here,” – His Excellency; Safiu Olaniyan, said.
The first edition of the NCTC took place in 2009 and despite the long recess, the fruits are evident.
The NCTC is an initiative of the Consulate General of Nigeria in Douala in conjunction with the Nigerian High Commission in Yaounde & the Consulate General of Nigeria in Buea; built on the philosophy that, Africans have to explore existing opportunities around them rather than looking abroad .
