Pascal Yung declares himself one of Africa’s best rappers
Cameroonian rapper, Pascal Yung has just declared himself one of the best rappers in Africa and before you start asking why, he has a solid reason.
Chain Rap Blog Africa released a list of their “Top 50 African Rappers of All Time” and should we just say, Pascal didn’t make the cut? However two Cameroonian rappers – Jovi Le Monstre and Stanley Enow – appeared on the list!
Pascal Yung took to Instagram slamming the list, saying it lacks depth and credibility. The rapper claims he should have featured on the list because he believes he raps way better than most of the rappers who were listed.
“Feels good to see JOVI on the list thought he had to be up there. Whoever came up with this please, next time you want to come up with a list like this, do more research. I rap better than 90% of these cowboyz, if not all. Do your research and Fix this. Have a great day.,” he wrote on his Instagram.
Pascal was once signed to Jovi‘s New Bell Music record label before joining Strange Kings records. He however dumbed his second music home and now runs his own sh!t.
The rapper has an album and an EP below his belt – Work Dey and Pikin 4 Sun respectfully – and hopes to do even more with his music career in the years to come.
Dcoders, what are your thoughts on Pascal missing out on the “Top 50 African Rappers of All Time” List? Do you think with an album and an EP, he’s one of Africa’s best rapper?
