Jovi announces retirement, Blaise B, Ko-C, Phillbill react
Cameroonian rapper, Jovi has announced his retirement from music and other musicians like Blaise B, Phillbill and Ko-C are now reacting to the news.
Jovi says it is time to throw in the towel on his music career but that will only happen when he’s dropped what he calls, his last studio album.
The controversial rapper took to his Twitter on June 9 to make the announcement public. He also dished out a few words about his “final album” but failed to tell his fans what he would be doing during this retirement.
Singers and producers, Blaise B and Phillbill (from Ridimz music group) reacted to Jovi’s retirement news, both calling on the New Bell Music founder to not retire so fast due to their personal reasons.
Meanwhile, rapper Ko-C tells Jovi to do one thing before retiring from music – make up with long time rival, Stanley Enow and he says it will be a phenomenal turn around #fortheculture.
With all these celebrity reactions, the rapper’s fans aka #mbokogang still believe Jovi may not be serious about this retirement. Some think it’s only for clout in order to raise traction towards his next and forthcoming album.
