“Showbiz in Cameroon is boring” – Zinnia
Leave it to singer Zinnia to point out some truths within the so-called Cameroon entertainment industry.
The Nigerian-based media personality took to her Facebook page on December 15 to alert celebrities on how the showbiz industry can get even more interesting.

“There are just somethings which are happening in our industry that we seem to ignore and that’s not right. First, we do not have an industry. We have an industry on social media but we do not have one on ground. If we can start by taking that industry off social media and building one on ground then we might be able to see some of these issues…” Zinnia said in a short video on her wall, Friday night.
The singer went on to say not all beefs are bad in show business. Instead, she claims the more the beefs, the better. However, she took a swipe at bloggers for playing nice when it comes to celebrity beefs.
“The beefs that’s been happening on Facebook recently make me laugh because usually, when there’s a beef between or among artists, you use that. You leverage on that. But I see some really nice juicy beefs happening and everybody is just like… doing nothing about it and it’s making the industry boring.
“If I throw a fight, pick it up and fight back. Don’t make me look stupid. Don’t! If we wanna do this showbiz, let’s make the show look fun. It’s boring. Then I will be ranting all alone and you are not responding. Making me look foolish… Like, respond,” The ‘Colo‘ singer went on to explain.
“I like Salatiel. Even if you don’t direct it at him, he comes for you and it makes news and his name is going far. If you write a post, he knows you are writing it for him and even if you are not writing it for him, he responds and I am like, that’s dope.
“What happened to the Blanche Bailly and Mel B beef. I was on Facebook everyday waiting to see what’s happening and nobody was saying anything. Mel B did this thing (diss video) and Blanche didn’t come for her and it was just boring. Like, you wanna make it showy, make it fun. Keep us entertained,” she said.
Well, at the end of it all, Zinnia did well to say, “I am not doing this to hurt anyone’s feelings or step on any toes or trying to trend that’s not the purpose for this video”.
