Hurray! C’est Le Salatiel!

It doesn’t matter where you are from, but where you are going. Salatiel is trending in the Us music market and that’s thanks to his collaboration with Beyonce and Pharrell Williams in ‘Water,’ off queen Bey’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album.

According to new Spotify stats, Beyonce, Salatiel and Pharrell’s ‘Water’ has risen to number 7 on the US Viral 50, number 4 on Brazil Top 50 and to number 32 on the Global Viral 50 less than a week since the video (off the Black is King visual album) was released. Wahoo!

What does this mean to Salatiel and urban musicians in Cameroon? It’s simple – he [they are] is going all the way up!

It is not every day we have a music artist from a small country as Cameroon in Africa get the same recognition on global music platforms as those from huge entertainment nations like Nigeria, England or Japan.

Salatiel is proving that dreams do come true if you not only believe but also work hard to achieve goals…. just like Stanley Enow did in 2014 when he, as the first ever Cameroonian artist to be nominated, walked home with MAMA’s Best new Act award , beating the likes of Burna Boy, Uhuru and Phyno.

Salatiel has expressed gratitude to fans and media who have supported him over the years and not just on this major project. He took to Facebook on August 5 to say,

“Special thanks and big ups to all Media that has been rrrelaying and promoting my works from day one and not just my collaboration with Beyonce and Pharrell. You are the true force. Every radio, TV, blog, newspaper, magazine, I need you to know I am grateful.“

Salatiel has announced his next album, ‘Africa Represented’ will drop September 2020 and the second single off the album titled, ‘Vamos’ featuring Soul Bangs will be released on August 25.
