Blaise B leaves Alpha Better Records
Blaise B is out of Alpha Better Records after nearly four years.
The singer, songwriter and producer is now the second music artist walking out on one of Cameroon’s most prominent record labels, Alpha Better Records after rapper, Askia was ditched by the label in June 2018.
In a lengthy press release on December 30, Blaise B indirectly explained his 2020 music plans, excluding any mention of his music house. He also failed to use the label’s very famous letterhead and didn’t sign off with Alpha Better Records logo. Instead he introduced the name of his own label, Akwandor Empire.
Does it confirm his exit? Well, if the words “Eager to unveil a new step in my career” is anything to go by, then he is out! He also uses the new Akwandor Empire letterhead and reveals his personal contacts for any inquiries. What more?
Rumours has it that Blaise B may not be the only artist who has left the prominent record label. Our inside source claims Mr Leo had left the label months ago and created his own Lionn Productions – where he’s signed singers; Kameni and Gomez.
Blaise B’s Instagram announcement was met with support from the singer’s industry friends and fans.
