“I used to die hard, crave and cry to be respected” – Blanche Bailly reflects
Blanche Bailly is one of Cameroon’s top female music artists who has almost single handedly paved her way to the top through hard work and the believe she can make it. But the singer has just admitted that respect is the one thing she wanted and could die to get some.

In a recent post on her Facebook account, Bailly admitted that she wanted to be respected so badly for what she does and felt horrible when others couldn’t and didn’t give her the respect she deserve.
However, she says over time, she doesn’t seek for respect any more because she knows her worth and “the numbers speak for themselves.”
Without a record label or business manager, the singer’s video, ‘Bon Bon‘, recently hit a million views on YouTube and she is currently in Europe for her first international music tour. Who else needs respect?

Read her post below and tell us what you think. Does Blanche deserve much more respect than she’s been given?
Let me put this straight out today . It will probably be the first and last time i’ll ever say it. I used to die hard for respect, craved for it and cried for it because i alone know how far and where i come from but in my little time i’ve spent in this industry i finally understood #theyarenotwillingtogiveittome.
It’s not like i do not deserve it , but they refuse to give it to me but you know what , i do not need it anymore
Why? Because the numbers speak for themselves. The growth is evident. They will deny it but we slowly changed the game …(positively or negatively) you be the judge! The small Larinette from kumba is now Blanche Bailly!!! You might not like the woman i have or i am becoming , but i am #BolD and #powerful
Stop seeking affirmation , validation and LIVE !! #womenyoucandoit , even more #youcandoitallalone
All this plenty tok so na to end up thanking my small army of lovers and supporters outhere o. Wuna no over checkam , but #youguysrock #idoitforyouandyonly #idontneedtheiraccoladesAnd You working so hard for your own , stop looking for recognition and expecting the world to cry ya jess.
#effortsarehardlyseen because nobody is there when you make them.
