In the last 25 years, the competition has attracted over 95,000 students from over 360 universities in 58 different countries to turn Brandstorm into a real innovation catalyst. In 2017, students were challenged to share their ideas on how to “disrupt men’s grooming with life changing innovation.”
For 2018, the competition is calling on students who can invent the customer experience for the professional salon of the future (So think tech, digitization etc). The experience should help recruit and engage millennials, as well as to increase the hairdresser’s loyalty. The winners will be competing for three different awards; a Brand, Tech and CSR award.
Virginie Fanny Diaz says Africa has a major role to play in helping L’Oreal reach its goal of getting one billion new consumers.
