Cameroonian singer, Nabila took home the ‘Revelation of the Year’ award at the Canal D’Or Awards 2019 but did she forget or deliberately leave out the name of her long time producer, Edi LeDrae aka Drae Boii in her acknowledgment speech?

Singer, Nabila is facing some serious backlash on social media after her ‘Thank You’ speech at the 12th edition of the Canal D’Or Awards in Yaounde on March 9 missed out the name of her long time music producer and friend, Drae Boii. The singer thanked everyone, from her family, fans and record label for giving her her first ever trophy at the Canal D’Or Awards and never mentioned the man who produced her hit songs.

Fans are now coming after the beautiful songstress for ignoring the help and disrespecting the creativity of her music producer and one time lover while praising her team for her success and achievements over the years. It was Nabila‘s first appearance, first nomination and first win at the award show.

Nabila and Drae Boii used to be a couple few years ago and even share a beautiful daughter together. However, the couple have long split but continue to work together in creating her hit songs including her most recent release, ‘Ca va Aller’, dropped August 2018. So, why did she snub Drae Boii in her speech?

Well, it seems like Drae Boii has responded to his ex girlfriend’s Canal D’Or Awards snub. The Urban Jamz Awards nominated music producer took to his Facebook wall, March 10, to declare his admiration and respect for the four time Canal D’Or Awards  2019 winner, Daphne…. instead! Did he also forget his baby mama had a historic win that night?
