Baby news is Good News!

Cameroonian celebrities are dropping baby news like flies and we are here for all of it.

Blanche Bailly, Fhish, Askia and Daphne are joining the likes of Mimie, Tilla and others to celebrate that they are either expecting or already having a newborn.

Afro Pop singer, Blanche Bailly‘s pregnancy news broke on May 1 when blogger, Esaw Dillis dropped the bombshell on her Instagram. Then on May 16, the singer showed off her growing baby bump in a music video for the acoustic version of her latest single, ‘Mes Respects’. Congratulations to the new mummy-to-be.

Next is Fhish! Despite basking in the euphoria of the release of his debut EP, ‘I Am Cameroon,’ this singer and performer now has another reason to rejoice. He and his baby mama have welcome their first child together named, Ivana-Latimore. The announcement was first made by an Instagram account, @Fhishsquad, on May 20. The singer tells us, “I am so happy… her name is great right? I am happy.”

Singer, Daphne was rumoured to be carrying her first child with her fiance last April but the ‘Calee’ hit maker has debunked all those pregnancy rumours by recently posting sultry pictures of her in a pool rocking a two piece bikini and showing off her flat tummy and round booty.  She’s saying, ‘I am not pregnant… At least, not yet!’

Rapper Askia suffered a rather unfortunate miscarriage in October 2019 after being married to rapper, Qilla Ngunji for just two months. The couple stood by each other during that trying time and have since returned to normalcy. However, there’s good news again! The female MC is reportedly pregnant once again and our source tells us, “She is extremely careful this time and taking each day as it comes while enjoying every second of her pregnancy.”
