Clear Creek Empire launched, signs 3 new artists
Clear Creek Empire has been launched! The new record label says they are coming to grow young talents and make major changes in the music business in Cameroon.
In a press conference held in Douala on November 25, Che Elvis Chumbow, President of the label explained that Clear Creek Empire has not been created to join the trend but it has solid projects in the pipeline to help build talents and make their artists shine brighter than the rest.
“We may be young and new in this business but trust me, Clear Creek Empire knows what to do. We’re working with three artists who have three visions to music despite aiming for one thing called success. We believe in them and are giving them the chance to explore their various music gifts and bring something new to the scene. They trust us and we believe in them,” Che tells pressmen.
Clear Creek Empire has on board singer/songwriter/producer Djara, Afro/Soul singer Helen Snow White and rapper Zee JM. The label is owned by three shareholders and each artists has an individual manager to run their affairs.
“Each artist signed to CCE has the responsibility to make good music which we want to sell nationally and later, internationally. We have a good producer and amazing songwriters who are ready to work and take criticisms as a tool to make better and wiser decisions. We want them to be open and true to what they feel, think and want and should go for it. Of course, we are there to guide and mentor,” explains the President.
The label didn’t just host pressmen to a conference but further hosted them and many other well wishers to a great launch party of singer, Djara‘s latest music video “Taste”. An event hosted by media personality/actor Alenne Menget.
