Dynastie Le Tigre was full of tears at this year’s Canal D’or Awards in Yaoundé on March 4.

The popular singer couldn’t hold back tears after he was pronounced Best Male Artist at the prestigious award show, Saturday night.

The singer, who looked dapper in a blue suit, white shirt and a black bow tie seemed overwhelmed about his win – beating other major music acts in his category.

Dynastie broke into more tears while standing beside the First Lady, Chantal Biya for a family photo shoot. Paul Biya’s beautiful wife managed to console the singer by offering him a handkerchief and giving him subtle taps on the back.

“I cannot believe I am here. I cannot believe I won… For a small boy with no mother and no father, this is really a blessing. Thank you so much,” Dynastie Le Tigre told the audience during his acceptance speech. Adding that his forthcoming concert in Paris is on March 12.
