Epie refuses to apologize to victim, blames friend for nude video release
Cameroonians around the world have strongly condemned the recent release of a video showing a man named Epie sexually molesting a young girl over a 2,500 francs CFA debt. Now, Epie reveals that he never released the video, but his friend did and has refused to apologize to neither the victim named Kelly nor the women folk in general.
In a recently release audio recording [words are in pidgin language] on Facebook, Epie is overheard explaining how that obscene video landed online and says he’s not ready to plunge his family into another shameful situation but he’s ready to expose the perpetrators of this sinful act.
Epie (real name Epie Ntoko) currently leaves with his brother in Bur Dubai but claims he was locked up for a week because of this same crime few years back when his victim [and her family] reported him to the authorities. He mentions the fact he was however released on a 100,000 francs CFA bail and also deleted the video after his friend named Tang Collins transferred it to his phone.
Epie now claims that the then commissioner assigned to the case was responsible not only for the case but accuses him of collecting bribe for his release from jail after a month.
Epie now says the investigator assigned to the case can verify his story and can also help catch Collins and all those responsible for the release of the video.
Despite trying to exonerate himself from what happened, Epie never apologized for putting the young girl’s nakedness on a video recording in the first place. Instead, he insists that he did not release the video and the police should help him catch his friend, Collins who did without his consent.
If Epie didn’t record the girl, none of this should have happened. What do you guys think? Listen to Epie’s infamous apology below.
