Looks like not everyone is a huge fan of popular female rapper, Askia.
A disgruntled fan took to his Facebook, September 2, slamming the Alpha Better Records star for allegedly humiliating a popular rock band during her failed live performance at the Beta Night 2017 event in Limbe on September 1.
However, our source claims Askia kindly asked the live band during her Beta Night performance to stop playing due to a technical fault which was affecting her sound.

The fan (Anis Melo) is now not only questioning Askia‘s ability to rap or sing but he’s also accusing the “Ma Valuer” crooner of not being able to perform with a live band. From questioning her music ability to her public behavior, Melo went full in on Askia in his post. Yikes!
“ASKIA KAREN!! Can you believe this chick? This lady so hilarious. Heard you saying Freeboii (rock band) could not play, yet I was astonished by the FREEBOII and NABILA (Cameroonian singer) performance. Big ups to NABILA by the way, was really impressed and moved,” he wrote.
After praising singer, Nabila who struggled to perform despite the bad sound quality at the event, the fan then slammed Askia’s ability to do music.
“I’ll be blunt. So Askia, you can’t rap, you can’t sing, you can’t do a live performance, neither could you ace (do) the playback performance you so wanted to do. So on behalf of Facebook and Cameroon plus diaspora .. my question is ….. what can you really do musically? Oh yes!! #kpaaa,” he wrote.

The fan didn’t end there. He advised Askia to abandon music and go “look for another job, something like acting because we all know modelling is out of the topic” – before calling her “wack” and proud.
“Look b#### be humble. Don’t throw rocks when you living in a glass house… You suck/wack and yesterday night was devastating and embarrassing though I’m still sugar coating it. Own it biatchhhh. Don’t blame other people for your inability to deliver. You don’t practice and you expect to play good? You must be a pro for that and it’s obvious you’re not even ready for this… From statistics, you still haven’t done sh** and there is a high probability you still won’t do s***,” he added.

To Melo always Respect the hustle of others , no matter what anyone does , slandering their career and trying to break ’em down only brings yourself down n low. If an artist tells the live band to stop it’s cuz they may not be in tune to the melody in their heart, they have the right to do that. You don’t know what these artists go through to give the world it’s greatest gift ” Music”. Again just you have a special preference for one artist don’t mean u diss another. After Nabila did an overwhelming performance with the Freeboiband,Askia came in and after playing into the song like half the song she said the band is viking the songs and she went ahead to play the song thinking that the performance would be different little did she knw that you cannot perform without rehearsals what’s what makes the channel for a good performance Nibila did rehearsal that evening before the show and that’s why the result was thumps up.U can’t wake up from your bed and carry your head to hold a Mic to perform and expect good results.It doesn’t work that way.Moreso you publicly with a mic discredit a band to make your self feel better because you are not as talented as the other artist.I personally think you should work alot on yourself
