Celebrity makeup artist Corine Lastar has entered Day 2 of her special makeup masterclass at Chariot Hotel, Buea and the women of the South West Region have not stopped pouring in their support and zeal to learn at the workshop.

Corine Lastar came up with the idea of a makeup masterclass in Cameroon after noticing a number of faults when it comes to makeup on social media and television.

So, we are looking at the three things you should know about this highly anticipated makeup masterclass by Corine which is taking place to help empower women on beauty.

1. How to empower personal beauty

Makeup masterclass by Corine Lastar is to help women – both old and young – learn how to enhance their beauty with the use of cosmetics. To Corine, every woman is beautiful but with makeup, women should believe in themselves more and have more self confidence. The class teaches women how to use eye shadows, draw the perfect eyebrows and how to contour the face. Besides makeup, there was also a beautician from Berry Cosmetics, Buea who educated women on skin types, skin cosmetics and beauty regimens as well as a celebrity Stylist, Fichian Nfi who helped women know what to wear and at what occasion, season or weather  condition.

2. How makeup can become business

Doing your makeup at home could be moved from the house to a store. Women can use makeup as a business venture to make money. To take makeup to a whole new level, continue to learn through workshops, tutorial videos on Youtube and follow people who inspire you on social media to keep up with the latest trend.

3. How beauty can build self esteem
