It was all about the show of skin at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Monday, August 20. It’s probably the most shocking red carpet everrrrrrrrrrr!

Have designers stopped creating clothes or are they now making rags for our red carpet events? The #VMAs2018 pink carpet, by far, has registered the highest amount of  skin shown on camera for any red carpet! Where were the clothes!!???

Reality TV stars virtually tripped in almost naked. Amber Rose, Blac Chyna, Sky and a host of other TV stars strolled in semi nude in their so-called costumes. It’s cool to know that the VMAs is like the MET Gala of music awards but again, must all the African-American female stars go for nudity on the red carpet?

This year’s event was amazing, with great performances and applaudable winners but the fashion statements would perhaps be more memorable than the trophies won and by whom. The show of too much skin could have been the theme for this year’s red carpet… because it was the order of the day.

Rapper, Nicki Minaj surfaced on the red carpet in a sheer dress from Off-White’s Fall 2018 Collection but her huge booty took all the attention. Blac Chyna hit the pink carpet in a pink chain look by Laurel Dewitt while Amber rocked a custom red catsuit to the VMAs. British pop star, Rita Ora chose a black see-through Jean Paul Guatier dress as reality TV star, Asian Doll surfaced in a ‘Clueless’ vibe rocking a custom Anthony Latimore outfit.

The list goes on and on and on… But our major concern is the amount of skin flashed at this year/s MTV music event. It was a call for concern. If you think we are lying, see our gallery below.
