Music group Pbrodaz split, Dexstar, Flexy to kick off solo careers
The popular Cameroonian music group in the diaspora, Pbrodaz have split and the two members: Dexstar and Flexy will be going their separate ways to start off their solo music careers.
Dextsar has already announced his debut solo single titled, ‘My Way’ which drops March 20 and he is showing so much interest in pursuing his music dreams on his own. Meanwhile, nothing has been heard or seen from the other group member, Flexy.
Pbrodaz was a music group made up of two brothers who began music while they were in college. The group has existed “forever” and has now come to an end.
“We started music when we were really young but because of lack of financial means and parental pressure, we didn’t excel out there because we were obedient kids. So Pbrodaz have existed foreverrrrrr. The reason behind the breakup is just us wanting to try new things. There’s no problem. We just have different goals and different focus. ” explains Dexstar.
While Dexstar has already gone ahead to work with the very talented music producer, Akwandor for his debut single, ‘My Way’, he assures us that Flexy will also be pursuing his music.
As for Dexstar, who doubles as a family man with two beautiful kids, he says his music is all about celebrating happiness and life achievements.
“I do music that is enjoyable, danceable, anything that can move someone and get anyone go dancing on the floor. So long as its music, you need to be happy consuming it,” the singer shares with us.
