Nsang Dilong, Lucie Memba, Solange Yijika rock black to CAMIFF 2017 nomination party
The Cameroon International Film Festival (CAMIFF) 2017 nomination party in Buea made black dresses look anything but basic.
Maybe it’s inaccurate to call black dresses a trend. Really, they’re more of an enduring, look-great-on-everyone, style staple. But the sea of dazzling black gowns at Saturday night’s CAMIFF nomination night gave more proof dresses don’t have to have bright colors – or even a ton of shimmer – to light up a room.
Actress Nsang Dilong looked equal parts Gothic and glam in a black mini by Zara. Her dress was unique thanks to the added leather at the bottom. The “Mama Paulina” star matched her look with a lovely pair of sandals by Aldo. Well done girl!
Actress Solange Yijika rocked a shimmery long-sleeve gold and black gown and matching hair. The beauty then accessorized her look with a gold-colored necklace and shimmering shoes.
Actress Lucie Memba also got in on the trend. Lucie wore a sexy black mini gown. Heads up: this designer made the dress even more lovely with the just eight huge buttons at the side to help draw attention to her curves. To make her look even more dazzling, the “La Partrie D’Abord” star added a golden-colored strap sandals on and held unto a mind-blowing golden clutch. Need we talk about her shimmering earrings too?
Actress Solantine ‘Soli’ Egbe stole the red carpet in an L&E Fashion curve-hugging cut out black number. Though her golden clutch and big hair made for elegant accessories, there was one thing that Kristen wouldn’t hit the red carpet without, a pretty smile on that beautiful face of hers. We loved it!
