Cameroonian actress, Stephanie Tum now has her own film production company called, EMBI Company Ltd.

The actress, who recently got back into making films after a long four year break, says its always been a dream for her to be her own boss in the movie business.

Stephanie Tum took to her Facebook wall, September 22, to unveil her biggest career secret and went even further to explain why she’s decided to go down this road of maybe becoming Cameroon’s leading movie lady.

“When I finally decided to return full time to the movie industry last year June 2017 leaving my high level blue collar job and a steady paycheck, I had only 1 dream, no plan B or C. Becoming my own Boss in the entertainment industry,” the beautiful actress wrote on her wall.

Stephanie went further to reveal the future to her career, becoming a full-time filmmaker who also writes and directs film and TV content. However, she admits that the road will not be so smooth.

“I knew exactly what I was getting into. The delight of finally doing what I love and exploring my passion, the good and dark side of being a public figure, the negativity within the industry, the mockery and insults from people who don’t understand why you do what you are passionate about , the haters that grow over night etc . But I was ready and saw beyond all of that . Being an actress that I was already was great but I wanted more. I wanted to be a producer and grow further to become a complete filmmaker in the future (Writing, directing etc) That is the big plan… being in a position to do what I want to do when I want to do it. Owning my own projects and establishing myself as a household name in the Industry,” she wrote.

The actress reveals that her company will focus on making quality movies and not “just copy and paste movies or movies that die after premieres” . She added that being an actress is great but “the fact that I am the #Boss and call the shots, that is #BIGGER“.

EMBI Company has taken one full year to to come alive and its now committed to building professional work as the founder continues to learn from others, make mistakes, rise after falling and making great changes in the Cameroon film industry.
