Cameroonian stars rock local designs at AFRIMMA 2016
Cameroonian stars waved the flag of local designers on the red carpet at the AFRIMMA 2016 in New York, October 15.
Magasco and Daphne rocked Cameroonian designs for the big music event and didn’t shy away from sharing the information on social media.
Magasco’s startling all-black traditional look was created by popular designer, Amah Bertrand of Amah Fashion House in Bamenda.
While everyone praised the singer for wearing an AFH outfit, the singer posted a picture of his look on his Instagram with the caption,
“Had a good time… learnt a lot #aheadahead.”
Daphne, who took home the award for “Best Female Artist Central Africa” rocked a sexy, body-hugging floor-length sequin gown by Pearl Lira of Spell Kootor.
“Outfit by a 100% CAMEROON clothing line — @spellkootor.” She wrote.
She late posted another picture showing of her dress – from the front to the back view and captioned, “Beautifully made… Afrimma winner. Dressed by @spellkootor.”
