Nsang Dilong puts Miss Cameroon pageant on full blast

Actress, Nsang Dilong has a big problem with this year’s Miss Cameroon beauty pageant just as she has with its previous editions. She says enough is enough with the poor organization and choice of foreign winners every year.

The Miss Cameroon 2018 goes to Aimée Caroline Nseke who is also the Miss Cameroon Switzerland 2016 winner and according to Nsang, this is not the way things should go.

“The winner was Miss Cameroon Swiss 2016. I see,” Nsang wrote on her Facebook page Saturday night.

“The money used in bringing Miss USA Cam Swizz could be used in upgrading the new Queen. COMICA needs to take care of their Queens,” the actress went on.

The “Expression” movie star also took a swipe at the level of organization of the Miss Cameroon pageant  by the  Committee of Miss Cameroon (COMICA) since 2002. She disses not just the outfits worn by the contestants, but she also had issues with their wigs and the choice of music by the DJ.

“I’m not feeling those jumpsuits and those capes. And why can’t they play Cameroonian songs?” Nsang asked on Facebook.”Wait a minute, did they impose wigs on all the contestants?Because I know some of them have beautiful natural hair #nappyhair,” she added.

“Can we at least have close up on the contestants? They are passing for the 3rd time and I have barely seen their faces,” she went further.

Nsang isn’t the only one slamming the show. Popular reporter and correspondent at Reuters TV, Eyong Blaise Okie also called out the COMICA on social media for organizing one of the worst events in 2017.

“#MissCameroon2018, another failed event. As usual, our new miss will be moving around via public transport or she will either need to use her prize money to get a decent car for herself.

Oh…once again, the winner was imported from Europe. I am still to figure out how she will abandon her activities in Switzerland so as to fulfill her campaign message in Cameroon.

The presenters (above 40) did not represent the youths at all. Horrible song choices from the DJ came with a lighting system which is one and unchangeable from start to finish. Our contestants look confused. Everyone of the promising heaven and earth(public lies). The entire show was hijacked by politics from all angles.

“This is the 21st century so things must be done following international standards. How did we become so unprofessional and dull. What a waste!” Eyong wrote.

Every year Cameroon Ian keep complaining about this same event. The event directors, costumes, lighting, music, make up is always an issue yet they never address it.
Several years ago they tricked young make up artists Sanda and then Anyi in to doing make up for the preliminaries then decline paying them
The whole thing looks like a drug cartel hard so no one can break through.i guess we will just keep hoping one day the politics in this will go away and the beauty, culture and dynamics of the Cameroonian women will be celebrated
