Steve Fonkam rubbishes Tzy Panchak’s new song “I’m Not Lucky” says “Its not a hit”
Media Personality, Steve Christian Fonkam is spitting his hard truth on Tzy Panchak’s latest release ‘I’m Not Lucky’ saying the song is not a hit, it’s an album song and sounds misplaced. And that’s not even all.

In a video since gone viral, the popular Douala-based radio and TV broadcaster acknowledges Tzy Panchak‘s undeniable talent but claims the Blu Nation soldier didn’t do justice on his recently released track.
“It’s an album song. It’s not a hit. This guy is not making a hit. He’s been releasing songs but he’s not been releasing hit songs like Magasco releasing Wule Bang Bang. I think there’s something still lacking for Tzy Panchak who is a very talented guy no doubt but this is his weakest composition ever,” Steve is seen and heard saying in the video.
The Sweet FM and Canal 2 TV star also took the opportunity to address the “situational artist” comment Panchak received earlier this year from Ebangha Njang, publisher of the online magazine Sa Majeste.
“The beefing in this song is worthless, giving us a lyrically poor music where Panchak is answering Ebangha Njang who says he’s a situational artist. I think the message is clear but you shouldn’t dedicate the whole song to it and make her so important,” Steve mentioned.

When we thought it was all over, Fonkam went further to take a swipe at the director of the video, Mista Adrenaline. The OAP says the video wasn’t anything to ride home about.
“Adrenaline did not do anything creative. He just took additional shots… aside from the shots of him [Tzy] going to the airport and stuff… He was just zooming… zooming in those shots in Douala and all that. It’s pretty clear that’s not what makes a video. To me, its misplaced,” Steve said.
Meanwhile, CEO of Blu Nation, Marvin Slim had this to say
Watch I’m Not Lucky video below.
What is this guy talking about? Tzy has hit songs. Not one, not two. Please hut your mouth if you don’t have anything constructive to say.
Is Stay with Me not a hit?
Is Ngueme not a hit?
Is Super Woman not a hit?
Is Mad For ya Love not a hit?\
Should i continue.
Who is he to come and make as if he knows music more than us the fans? Shut up to you
The Steve na who sef? Who know ie?
Thank you bros. Tzy has to make hit songs not album songs. He is too talented to just be a regular artist making regular songs.
Na who be this boy who thinks he knows it all. How can you say Tzy doesn’t make hit songs or are you saying his songs have to be sung by those in Douala first before its considered a hit? Abeg cam here cam explain yasef ya
Album Songs hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Cameroonians will never appreciate talent even when its thrown into their eyes. Its really sad for this media man to say this about Tzy. We love him in the USA and know and sing to his jams. To us, there are hit songs he has under his belt. Please go back to your drawing board.
Who is this guy? Why is he talking? Who asked for his opinion? Shut your trap fat cow!
Tzy don suffer! Chai! You have talent, they talk. You don’t have talent, they still talk. Please Tzy just focus on yourself and your music. Don’t be bothered
Seriously, this guy is making sense. Tzy’s last hit was Stay With Me. Thats just the hard truth and i am so sure he knows the truth too. He needs songs to go mainstream not on social media. He has almost none. So he should go back to work
Tzy I lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
So much sense in this. Tzy needs hit songs and its a fact! You people should stop insulting the poor guy for saying the truth. Instead you all should help Tzy to get hits back to back
Tzy of life. Even when you are quiet they will bring you trouble.
I have to admit that this media guy is just telling the truth of truths. I love Panchako but he also needs to work hard to get those hit songs. Stay With Me was a great track. We just need another
What an awful thing for a radio broadcaster to say on air. Why ddint he call Tzy and talk to him about it. Attention seeker
Na only so we go de
Hahaha
This guy speaks the truth. Tzy go back to your drawing board. Work with different producers like PhillBillBeats and shoot videos with Nkeng or Adah for a change and watch what happens. All Steve is saying is make some changes and wait for reults.
These our artists dont like hearing the truth. This is the truth right here
Make di man for shiddon for downbeach. What does he mean by album song? He even blasted Adrenaline for giving Tzy a bad video. What does he know about video directing? Abeg leave person. We like it like that. Go and hang
Tzy i greet you oh. How market?
This boy is saying the truth especially that video aspect. Tzy has to go out there and try working with other video directors. It will be good to him on a different platform and on a different level. He is very talented with good songs. But video has goas to change or improve.
Album song… my God! That was harsh
He is a very good singer. I like him songs
Another day, another media person insulting an artist. What is really wrong with all of your ? Let me go
Im just here for the comments. Juice or no juice lol
When your songs cant go mainstream then you are still playing. He should make hit songs that everybody, rich or poor, old, young, female or male can sing and identify the singer and not ask who did this song everytime he hears it come on air. So this Steve guy is only sharing his opinion and giving Panchak word of advice
Hello everybody.
Everything this says makes sense and in this case, Tzy needs to do more work to get his music on every lips and his recognized by almost every Cameroonian.
Wonderful. Who die give this fool mic?
Tzy please go get another director. Adrenaline has tried. Try other people too na
Zoooommmm shots! Adrenaline must hear this Hahhaahahahaha
Abeg wuna leave Panchako
