Zinnia returns after 2 years with ‘Overload’ video
Cameroonian singer, Zinnia is making a serious comeback with a brand new video for her 2018 single, ‘Overload’.
The music star returns with this masterpiece, ‘Overload,’ more than two years since she last dropped a project. Zinnia released her single ‘Colo‘ back in 2017, only months after collaborating with hip hop artist, Stanley Enow on ‘Bongo Remix‘. Sadly, both songs didn’t do so well on the charts.
Still in 2017, the singer refused to release an already filmed video of her song, ‘Madam Makossa’ featuring former Alpha Better Records rapper, Askia for reasons still kept a secret.

Fast forward to 2019, Zinnia has returned with ‘Overload’, a song with many personal messages. The soft rythme, accompanied by a sweet melodious lyrical delivery clearly defines the artist’s current state of mind. Zinnia is keeping everything simple as she enjoys life as it comes.
In the song, she’s heard saying “I wanna do better” and may be blamed the slow success to her 2017 projects to wrong timing. She’s also revealing that,
“Life seem hard, be like leather. Man don turn be na begger. Aunty please don’t judge. Coz I be overload…”
These lines sum up all her troubles. When you don’t have and you seek for help, many will consider you a burden and/or make you an object for ridicule or turn you into a topic for gossip.
