Cameroonian comedian, Oboy da Comic will be having his first big stand up comedy show – The Oboy Comedy Show – in Yaounde on July 7 and we are taking a look at some four key factors about this forthcoming event you don’t know about.

1. The show will be hosting 6 comedians from Buea to thrill the audience in Yaounde. A move never done by any comedian in Cameroon.

2. The show is solely handled by Oboy da Comic. A now very popular comedian who began professional comedy back in 2014. He says he’s main aim is to connect two regions – South West and Central Regions – together on one stage.

3. Oboy da Comic, founder of the Oboy Comedy Show graduated from INJS (National Institute of Youth n sports) and has an MA in Leisure Sciences and Recreational Activities. So, he almost has a vision, which is to place the Cameroonian English-speaking stand-up on the African entertainment scale.

4. The major challenge with the Oboy Comedy Show 2017 is the availability of little or no finance. There are no partners and sponsors.
