6 reasons Stanley Enow keeps winning his war against Jovi

From a nobody to a somebody and then to someone the industry just can’t do without, Stanley Enow works extremely hard to stay relevant and to make his country proud internationally but his constant battle – or alleged cold war – with rival and hip hop giant, Jovi has entangled his career in more social media backlashes than we can possibly count.

However, here are seven reasons why the Motherland Empire rapper keeps beating his opponent at the battle ground.

Stanley Enow gives Jovi the silent treatment

1. The Silent treatment

As the slogan goes, “the best answer to a fool is to keep quiet” so has Stanley Enow chosen to treat his ache rival Jovi every time they fight on social media. The “King Kong” hit maker has continued to ignore his hip hop enemy #1’s hurtful rants on social media making it so difficult for Jovi to know what he’s thinking or planning to do next.  This move has given him the upper hand in almost every Twitter clash!

2. Keeps working on big music projects

Instead of involving himself in cheap and shameful social media battles with Jovi, Stanley Enow buries himself into making record breaking music to please his fans and bring more honor to his name and country. He has done the biggest music collaborations by any Cameroonian artist by working with some of the most recognized and talented names in African music – Sarkodie, AKA, Ice Prince Zarmani, Mr. Eazi, Locko, Gasha, Olamide, Ebako etc. There are even rumors he’s currently working on new songs which could feature a Hollywood rapper and other big names in music. This act of his almost begs the question – does he even care about the noise coming from the New Bell Music camp?

3. A dedicated and structured team

Why would Stanley Enow want to get himself involved in a “cheap” fight with Jovi when his team will not even allow him associate himself to a “worthless” internet conflict? The team behind the “Bounce” rapper has been credited by industry men and women for keeping the rapper sane and focused on what’s more important – music – than a fight with a fellow hip hop colleague on social media. Thanks to the structure of his team, Stanley is most often than not at the right place at the right time doing the right thing – a policy any artist would die to have in order to propel forward! Could we assume that the reverse is true with Jovi?

4. Brother handles the mess

It won’t be a battle unless two people arrive at the battle ground. Well, to join Jovi at the war front has always been Enow’s senior brother/manager Martin Enow! If he’s lil’  brother won’t say anything, he will! Martin got into a nasty Twitter war with Jovi when the “Cash” rapper called Stanley a “pu**y” and “a wack rapper”. Martin responded by calling Jovi a “weed head, irresponsible producer and father to his daughter”. Meanwhile, Stanley stayed at the side maintaining his silence as usual. At the end of the fight, Stanley was praised for keeping his cool and being the more matured person.

5. Still a record music breaker!

Stanley Enow still holds the record as the only Cameroonian artist to have won the prestigious MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) for “Best New Act”! Something Jovi has never achieved despite been nominated in the “Best Francophone Artist” category in 2015. Rumors have it that the “Don 4 Kwat” crooner may have ruined all his chances of getting another nomination after he slammed the organization on Twitter (the same year) for not giving him a VIP treatment to Durban, South Africa.

6. He’s reachable and quite humble

Stanley Enow makes himself very much available to fans and media – physically and on social media – just like any artists in the world does. But the reverse could be true with Jovi. Enow is very active on social media, responds to questions from fans and encourages his followers to be good people through his lyrics. He also uses his Stanley Enow Foundation to help the under privileged and orphans in Cameroon. Enow shows up for media interviews and sometimes participates on Twitter and Facebook Live chats so as to link up with his fans and also promote his music.
