Montess has only one word to all those claiming she didn’t deserve her All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) win last night (November 12).

The singer took home the “Best Female Artist Central Africa” award for her song/video “Love Witta Gun Man” Sunday night in Lagos – beating Reniss, Daphne, Ewube, Mimie and other top Central African female singers to the win.

Despite her big win, the singer received heavy backlash on social media with some fans claiming Reniss or Daphne would have won the same trophy instead.

Some of her music colleagues also slammed her win saying AFRIMA Awards committee wasn’t fair and transparent in the choosing of Montess over the others as their winner.

However, the singer has chosen to remain SILENT over it all. Instead, she posted a picture of her online, holding her award in a shiny gold and black body-hugging gown. She told her fans THANK YOU for believing and voting for her. She also announced  that she has begun a media tour in Nigeria (since Nov. 13) where she would discuss more about Cameroon music and what the future holds for her.

Dcoders, do you think Montess should reply her alleged haters for trashing her down on social media for winning an international award? Do you think staying quiet makes her look soft? Tell us below.
