Looks like Christmas came way too early for Cameroonian music star Makon!

The ‘Fine Girl‘ singer’s dream seem to have finally come true after meeting face to face with his music icon, Akon in Cote D’Ivoire over the weekend.

Makon was visiting the French nation to perform at a music concert reportedly organised by or for the American-Senegalese music heavy weight, Akon but he also had one thing at the back of his head – “I want to meet Akon”.

Both stars didn’t only share the stage but they were also spotted partying together at a nightclub in Abidjan.

“It felt really good,” Makon tells us exclusively.

“It was like a dream. I couldn’t stop laughing, I swear. Maybe I couldn’t believe it was finally happening… me standing next to a music legend like Akon who also happens to be my look alike… it’s an amazing feeling,” the singer explains.

Makon further revealed to us what Akon‘s reaction was when they finally saw each other, “ma man saw me and said you are my lil brother and everyone began to laugh. I mean, we really look like twins… only one is older than the other.”

Makon has always wanted to meet the one big music giant whom many people tell him he looks like. But now, we are not so sure if they will be doing a song together.

“Lets keep our fingers crossed, who knows,” Makon spills.
