Its official: Afrik Fashion Trend’s new collection is here! We previously gathered from the fast rising designer, Nkafu Sulet that her latest work will be more fun and colorful but what we didn’t know is that this collection was inspired by her very own passion to make clothes as a child.

Less than 3 weeks ago, AFT debuted the “Being Simple But Classy” collection in an assemblage of a professional photo shoot by celebrity photographer Njikeng Asonganyi that included a popular-face lineup, featuring event promoter Gina Efeti and famous choreographer Tarla Pamela, models Ngala Cynthia, Karma Kamzy to name a few.

“Designing is a talent and my passion to see our community represent where we come from any where they go,” AFT’s Creative Director, Nkafu Sulet said. “AFT as a whole is all about bringing out fashion outfits in a modern but African style to represent our African culture.”

Describing some of her new designs, Sulet explains that,  “we have AFT cape dresses and classy gowns all from my inspiration to always represent class and simplicity.”
