Ballantine’s has launched its “True Music Challenge” in all grandeur with one of Africa’s Finest Music Giant – Fally IPUPA.
The announcement was made public after a lot of brewing and stewing on 24th of October. This laudable initiative comes in handy for a country like Cameroon which is known for its rich culture spread out through a plethora of musicians or artists.
The Challenge is expected to be a TRUE CHALLENGE, given the wealth of talent to born or reborn on the 237 soil. Ballantine’s is hence positioning herself as a brand that stands for authenticity, resilience, passion, excellence all expressed in one common language “music”.
What’s to be expected? – The competition shall be open to public submissions and the power of voting shall be given to the viewers as well. Every week, artists/singers will be requested to submit / upload a video of themselves to the website www.ballantines.com.
The TOP 15 will be selected by the Ballantine’s team together with Fally Ipupa. These 15 candidates’ fate lies in the hands of their audience, as they shall be voted for in order to make THE TOP 5.
The TOP 5 will each have the chance to record an original under Fally Ipupa’s mentorship and the WINNER shall be voted on the day of the concert.
The Winner gets the following:
• A check, worth 1.5 MILLION francs cfa
• Recording of your debut single under Fally’s mentorship
• Production of your single by a popular and successful Cameroon label
• A duet with Fally during his concert on the 27th of December in Douala
