2018 is looking out to be a great year for Cameroonian urban music. Both the new and older artists dropping new songs and videos almost every three days. One of those to look out for is Bessem aka Miss Bess who just released a brand new single, “Mon Soleil”…

1. BESSEM (real name, Bessem Tataw) is a Cameroonian Afro-pop singer, songwriter based in Europe.

2. BESSEM is a phenomenal artist who started singing in choirs at the tender age of 13 and has now found her own unique voice. 

3. Her music is a reflection of her Cameroonian upbringing, Nigerian heritage, and European influence; with which she uses to combine English, French and Pidgin-English into her singing and songwriting. 

4.  After being very active in the music scene under the name ‘Miss Bess‘ and sharing stages in Europe with some big international music acts like Davido and Hiro, then taking a hiatus from the music scene, she is NOW BACK and RE-BRANDED under her real name – BESSEM.

5. She just dropped her new single titled “Mon Soleil“, a song  produced by Nigerian producer; TK. “Mon Soleil” is a sexy and sultry song in which BESSEM serenades her lover. Well, who says the Valentine’s Season isn’t coming in handy? It will make you fall in love!
