“My mother paid my 1st studio session” – Blaise B confesses

Just like a typical grateful African son, Blaise B is pouring a touching tribute unto his mama as he publicly shares some background history on how he began his music career.

The Alpha Better Records singer just released his latest single, ‘Mama’, praising the efforts and strengths of a mother and he chooses his own mother to dedicate the song to.

In a Facebook post on May 1, same day he dropped the single, Blaise B revealed that his mother was his first parent to believe he could go further with his music dreams.

“She [my mom] paid 45,000 frs cfa for my first session in the studio. Today, I am a singer, producer, etc,” the singer wrote on his wall as he asked his fans to share “the best thing your mother has done for you?”

In his self-produced new single, MAMA, the ‘On Fait Comment’ hit maker confesses that if not for his mother, he wouldn’t know where his music would be today. He adds that children should always remember to praise and pray for their mothers because those are the people who love you unconditionally.

Unlike his previous songs, ‘Mama’ is more subtle; on a slow beat and sang with care for every listener to get every word of what he’s trying to pass across. Blaise B debuted this song during his performance at the 2018 Cameroon International Film Festival (CAMIFF) on April 25 in Buea.

We really don’t have to wait until Mother’s Day to share our love with our mothers, right?
