A Cameroonian actor, Eystein Young Dingha Jr. has allegedly been arrested and detained in Lagos, Nigeria for impregnating an 18-yr-old student and forcing her to carry out an abortion.

The actor, famously known for playing the role of a chef in Ndive Lifongo‘s movie, ‘Little Cyndy’, is said to have forced his teenage lover to commit abortion after finding out she was pregnant. However, he had denied being responsible for her pregnancy.

According to a source, the family of the said girl reported the actor to the police. Eystein Young was later arrested and locked up in a police jail cell in Lagos for weeks, accused of the said crimes.

A social media user, who claims to have been investigating the matter wrote on his Facebook wall, August 30.

“…Our very own brother, young and dynamic, charismatic and one of the icons of the Cameroon Film Industry who is based in Nigeria, Eystein Young Jr. is reported to have impregnated an 18yr Ibo girl who is a student in Lagos by name Chinyere Amaka. 

Report says that, he was detained at a police station in Lagos for weeks by the girl’s  family. He was also accused of forcing the innocent girl to carry out an abortion which he denied not being responsible for the pregnancy but later accepted after pressure was mounted on him. 

I tried on my capacity to reach to him, he confirmed to me that, its one of those mistakes he has committed in life and his  career is at stake.”
