Daphne, Mr Leo, Salatiel on international mission to fight COVID_19 pandemic

Daphne, Mr Leo, Salatiel and many others are lending their voices on international music projects in order to help the fight against the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

Cameroonian music artists are joining other African music superstars like Sarkodie, Tubaba, Salif Keita, Toofan, Busiswa and many others to raise their voices in the fight against the Coronavirus.

#AfricaDay2020 Solidarity Concert for the African Union COVID-19 Respond Fund, Africa Zero Corona (#Don’tGoViral) and Mr Leo‘s recently released ‘Collectif Africa’ song are some of the global music projects gathering some of the continent’s biggest music stars to raise awareness on the protective measures to be taken by our communities against the pandemic.

Cameroonian music star, Mr Leo puts together a Stop Coronavirus project titled, ‘Zero Corona’ featuring some great musicians like; Wiz Ofuasia (Nigeria), DJ Kedjevara(Ivory Coast), Kameni (Cameroon), Gomez (Cameroon), Djanny Pacha (Congo), Spice Diana (Uganda), Daphne (Cameroon), Salatiel (Cameroon), Revolution (Ivory Coast), Diasy Frank (Burkina Faso) and BB Shegal (Burkina Faso). The song, dropped on May 22, 2020,  is produced by Sound Boi, Slym Harley and Loony Tunes and mixed by RJ Mix and CFX.

On May 25 it will be an all music mission as Trace TV collaborates with the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) for the ‘Stronger Together‘ campaign. On same day, France 24 collaborates with UNESCO for the ‘Zero Corona #DontGoViral‘ campaign. Both campaigns will see both Cameroonian artists and other African musicians sing for less than an hour each to cheer up coronavirus victims, healthcare workers and affected nations as they fight endlessly to put a stop to the pandemic.

These global music projects will not only help reignite hope and bring joy on the faces of some victims but they will also help raise funds to help nations or societies ravaged by the disease.

Both music shows will further help in exposing the growing Cameroon entertainment industry and the great musical talents she beholds while insisting that Cameroonians should do well to better take care of themselves against the pandemic.
