Celebrities, fans react to Chef Ali’s nasty Police assault

Top Cameroonian celebrities and fans have shared their two cents on the recent violation of celebrity chef, Balla Ali by a francophone army officer on the streets of  Buea on November 22.

The Marayz Restaurant main chef took to his Facebook account Wednesday morning, November 23, to explain what went down between himself and a francophone army officer in Buea last night.

“Last night we got beaten by our own very Cameroon army for no reason. They ask our identification and we presented them with one, they still humiliated us and beat us to the ground rit in front of the restaurant trying to get a taxi home. Cameroon oboso.” Ali wrote.

While the usually calm and cheerful Chef Ali has continued to take care of his beaten skin, fans and other celebrities have reacted with bitter comments about military officers being disrespectful to the same citizens they are supposed to protect.

Singer and TV personality, Zinnias Queendom wrote, “What is this country turning into??? God!”  Popular choreographer, Tarla Pamela wrote, “WTF!!! Cameroon!!!!!!” While fashion designer Nkafu Sulet said, “Tis is not happening”

Fans were also pissed with one writing, “That’s bad am ashamed of our soldiers. Some times they act like they didn’t go to school……” and another popped the question, “Seriously? ???”

All calls to the police was null and void.
