Indomitable Lions stars,  Clinton Njie and André-Frank Zambo Anguissa are almost through to the 2018 Europa League Finals after their team, Olympique Marseille crushed over Red Bull Salzburg in their Europa League semi-final first leg on Thursday.

Clinton Njie and club mate, Florian Thauvin both netted in the second half. The Cameroon international striker then made it 2-0 in less than three minutes after coming into the game in the second half, to leave Marseille firmly in control of the tie ahead of next week’s return in Austria.

The 2-0 result continued Olympique Marseille’s impressive wins at home this season as they returned from a 3-2 defeat away at Nantes in their previous outing.

Marseille are desperate to get through to the Europa League final that will be played in France, at the home of their bitter rivals Lyon, on May 16

Despite his off-the-pitch baby-daddy drama, Clinton is proving to be a football heroic as fans continue to wish for his triumphant return to the English League.

Reports say many clubs are interested in Clinton now and a move back to the English Premier League is a talking point. But inside sources claim,  “We are just seeing who is the most serious club before we make a final decision.”
