Daphne is speaking out about the pressures facing the celebrity lifestyle, saying being famous can also bring about loneliness.

In a recent post on her Instagram, the famous singer – who is currently in Madagascar for a music concert – admits that: “Fame is a lonely place”.

Daphne‘s confession comes online as news of the death of Cameroonian singer, Dany Clarisse Akamba aka Clarisse Wopso makes its round across the country.

Singer, Clarisse Wopso, 39, was reportedly found dead in a hotel room in France on August 1 and according to betatinz.com, the hotel Clarisse resided since November 2017 has confirmed the news saying,

“A social group called SAMU (a group which caters for homeless people) was responsible for the deceased’s stay at their hotel since November 2017. But Clarisse‘s lifeless body was discovered after the hotel noticed that her room hasn’t been opened since Monday (July 30) and a bad odour was coming out from it.”

According to medical examination, Clarisse had passed away almost a week before her corpse was discovered.

While mourning the death of the one time very famous singer, Daphne wrote: “To think I haven’t even started hmm… This ain’t all about me. The things happening around…. Rip Clarisse Valerie.”

Well, Daphne didn’t have to stay in mourning for too long as she shook off  Clarisse’s tragic passing with 25,000 of her excited fans in Madagascar, Thursday night. She shared a video on her Instagram showing her trying to capture her screaming audience with her cell phone writing:
