The importance and relevance of working together towards one common goal “to create good music” is paramount to anyone’s individual success, regardless of their standing in the industry.

With that in mind, Empire Company saw the need to bring together its employees and some of Cameroon’s biggest urban artists to make a song – Power – which best fits into the country’s current socio-political unstable atmosphere.

There’s been so much hate, killings and disgruntlement among Cameroonians since December 2016 and what better way to preach peace, unity and love than through music –  a universal language capable of forging togetherness among people.

Top urban artists – Magasco, Locko, Minks, Tenor and Rythmz – either signed to Empire Company or having affiliating distribution contracts with the label, have come together on the biggest urban music collaboration in Cameroon history.

Empire Company presents the POWER project. This project aims to bring together a good part of the creme de la creme of Cameroonian urban music,” Empire Company states. “This is the first extract of the project which is in association with BVS Cameroon.”

“Power” is a danceable track full of life, happiness and demands for Cameroonians to go out and spread joy among each other. Plus, it breaks all cultural diversity while exuding an impeccable teamwork.

The artists (who come from different geographic backgrounds) surely want to use this song to imbibe some sort of unity and peace among everyone, including themselves. Even though it’s also a business venture!

Since the video (directed by NS Pictures) dropped Thursday November 9, fans have been pouring out their support while urging others to watch , like and share.
