On a budget? (Who isn’t right?) These fashion trends will have you covered for the upcoming sunny season because they are affordable and could be worn over and over in different ways.

1. SUNGLASSES

We are going to be spending a lot of time in the sun so why not develop early healthy habits, such as protecting our eyes from UVA (ultraviolet A) and UBV (ultraviolet B) rays. In order to do this, we need a chic pair of glasses. These are great for our eyes but add to our personal styles.

2. SWIMSUITS

Whether dry season or rainy season, the thought of swimming crosses my mind every now and then. I see bright skies and love the feel of the sun rays on my skin. Since it’s the season for endless bright skies and sunny days, you may want to invest in swimsuits, and who says a kente swimsuit isn’t a better idea? You’re welcome!

3. MAXI DRESS

Many people don’t know this but rocking a Maxi dress is an effortless way to show up at pool parties without being under dressed or overdressed. No need to break a sweat –  pair your maxi dress with some lovely flat leather sandals and lip gloss and you’re ready to steal the day (don’t forget the chic sunglasses).

4. AN OVERSIZED BAG

You can’t show up at the beach or the pool with suit cases or with your things packed in so many bags. The simple way out is to get an over sized bag which will happily carry all your mess.

5. SANDALS

Let’s face it the rainy days kept our feet in shoes and socks but the dry season is the perfect excuse to get that manicure you badly needed and get a good pair of sandals. My advice, you should try Kenyan sandals or anything lightweight.

6. EXPOSED SHOULDERS

The perfect excuse to wear off-the-shoulder dresses and not feel out of place because our skin do need to get some fine sun rays.

7. T-SHIRTS

Invest in some light weight cotton t-shirts which will keep your body cool and relaxed while looking fashionable. Trying t-shirts with bold prints and fun colors will do the trick
