L’Oréal, like a few other corporate companies, is one the major sponsors at the K-Walk 2017 and the reasons why they got on board is simple – to introduce Cameroonians to their fantastic beauty and fashion products as well as get involved with and help build up the country’s fashion world.

“L’Oréal is already based in most countries in Africa except Cameroon. It is more about introducing ourselves and get to participate in the beauty and fashion and events business in Cameroon,” a rep for L’Oréal Africa explains.

As a means to get involved with the community of Cameroon, L’Oréal is also gearing up to introduce their amazing L’Oréal Brandstorm Competition; an innovative project incubator dedicated to students and projects.

“We also hope to announce Cameroon’s participation in our Brandstorm Competition early next year,” reveals the rep for L’Oréal Africa.

L’Oréal Brandstorm Competition is an innovation incubator for talents and projects in order to enable students to go beyond living the experience of a L’Oréal employee and allow them to transform their innovative ideas into reality.

“Innovation has always been one of the strategic pillars of L’Oréal’s business model, alongside brands and talents. To overcome its new challenges and to attract the best talents, L’Oréal is reinventing its student competition Brandstorm. We’d like to further open up our competition, especially to engineering and technology profiles that are truly important for a company dedicated to innovation”, says Jean-Claude Le Grand, (L’Oréal’s Director of International Human Resources Development and Corporate Diversity) on loreal.com.
