[watch] – LesLine delivers Cocowols International Fashion Festival theme song ‘Taking Over’

The rainy season may be coming but LesLine will transport you to a place of sunshine and forever happiness after you listen to her belt out the 2018 Cocowols International Fashion Festival theme song titled, ‘Taking Over’.

The 21-year-old Cameroonian Afro-Jazz artist, signed to Niki Heat Entertainment, was a semi-finalist on season one of The Voice Afrique Francophone but this time around, LesLine is blending her vocal prowess with a top fashion event in her hometown to celebrate our culture.

“I grew up Limbe and feel honored to have been asked to do this song. I look forward to performing it live in front of my city,” says LesLine.

LesLine‘s electrifying rendition of Moni Bile’s ‘Osi Tapa Lambo Lam’ during the blind auditions of  The Voice Afrique Francophone is often mentioned amongst the best ever.  She also won the 2017 Camer Green Music competition and currently serves as spokesperson for Camer Green and the United Nations Environment Programme’s Music for the Environment’ initiative in Cameroon. So you better get ready to blow your mind!

‘Taking Over’ is produced by M1 Studios, Buea.

The 2018 Cocowols International Fashion Festival is scheduled for May 10 – 12  in Limbe, Cameroon.
