Avance Media, which claims to be Africa’s leading media and public relations agency is focused on creating varied contents for the global market.

The group says the initiative to come up with a valid list of the most influential young Cameroonians  is an annual ranking scheme for young Cameroonian achievers between the ages of 15 – 40.

This year, the list of influencers recognises distinctive service dran.wn from 9 different categories including, business, media, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, science & technology, personal development & academia, leadership & civil society as well as social enterprise and philanthropy.

In 2016, singer Sama Ndango and a host of other Cameroonians slammed the list claiming most of these lists have lost their values as they repeatedly recognize those who have done little or nothing in influencing showbiz in Cameroon and by so doing, fail to appreciate those who work extremely hard to change the game.

Whoever is organizing it, THIS is 2017, you should ask the public to nominate instead of imposing. You be Cameroon Government? We have so many beer palour AWARDS going on. It’s a shame. We need a well structured entertainment industry which creates brands. Whoever is seeking recognition should create a platform first. NONSENSE!!! Mr. FixIt don talk!!” Sama wrote on his Facebook wall last year.

Well, in 2018, the group asked for the public to nominate their most influential Cameroonians and sadly, Sama Ndango was nowhere to be found on it. We wonder what he’ll say this time.
