Longue Longue is one of Cameroon’s most iconic musicians especially when it comes to creating “conscious” music and condemning the ills of the society via songs but was he recently insulted in by an event promoter in America?

Well, we are not so sure. But  Longue Longue was baptized with US dollars in front of a five star hotel just because he complained to have been kept waiting for hours by a US-based event promoter/businessman.

In a newly released video on Facebook, a popular event promoter, resident in the States, Maitre Nganjo (as Longue Longue is heard saying) rained dollars on the Makossa music star as his own way of saying “I apologize for keeping you waiting.”

Longue Longue posted the video online narrating the bizarre incident and also apologizing to his fans for flashing so much money on social media.

Fans across the country are slamming the action claiming the star was disrespected by the promoter who wouldn’t say, “I am sorry” instead.

“Please whoever loves longue longue should ask him to return quickly to school. He needs a psych exam. Because it’s going from bad to worse. He’s been insulted with the money but he doesn’t understand. Wouueeeeeeeee!! And he looks like a beggar. Dangote will never make such a video.
Those with real money don’t talk. Especially what they’ve worked hard for. I hate the extravagance. He made it look like he competing with his ego. It’s funny because I love his music and hate this” a fan laments on Facebook.

“My brothers and sisters if you have good health everything is nothing. Live your life don’t fall into the trap of buzz idiots. The most beautiful of wealth believe me it’s the one you don’t owe anyone and it’s your health. Do not be either bitter or jealous because it is the aim of this type of publications,” another  fan wrote.

“No matter what… Its only with “negroes” you see such nonsense like this, someone who works his money honestly can’t have a behavior like this,” another fan blasts.
